What is the Production Process of Glued Board?
The journey of raw materials to construct edge-glued boards begins with pine tree trunks. This wood goes to the sawmill and is sawn into thick boards. After that, the board is peeling from the bark and then it is sawn into a maximum number of allowable fragments. At this point, the optimization process of these materials begins.
After that, the board that comes out from the processing dries to reduce the moisture content by up to 12 percent. After drying, the boards are sorted by grade and length.
Further, we optimize the boards (make them the required length), while removing defects according to the requirements of the customer. After that, they are calibrated. Then identical boards are laid one on one and glued together. This panel is sanded, repaired, and cut to the required size and then formed into a pack.
The panels then turn into a smooth finish and are cut according to vendor requirements. These procedures are not done at your local stores.
